9, 7, 18 mo and a newborn. Obviously, the newborn and toddler, both girls, aren't playing video games but their two older brothers do, as do their friends who are also the same age.
Raising well-rounded kids who have friends, get good grades, and aren't socially retarded is important.
Maybe we need background checks,minimum age restrictions and training before we allow just anybody to have a Video Game

I’ve seen this kind of behavior very often where I live. One of those tykes went through the library just knocking books off the shelves and the large mom just lumbered up and down the isles paying no mind or corrected him with her lips pursed to the side of her face as if she was daring anyone to correct him. An Asian worker at the library told him not to knock the books down, and he just kept saying, “yah!yah”.
One came up to my daughter when she was three years old with the momma and baby daddy, just pushing on her chest with a fierce, little face, baring his teeth at her. I intervened and the momma and thug boyfriend just totally ignored the whole incident even though they could clearly see what was going on.
American blacks commit murder at about seven times the rate of whites.

I might get reamed for this, but I think much of it has to do with urban areas where men spread their seeds to multiple women with bloodlines being obscured all over the place which leads to inbreeding and mental retardation. Hence, low I.Q. and other genetic maladies.

At 9 and 7 years old and playing video games for their pass time enjoyment? Why don't you send them outside to play?
You have no idea what kind of kids you are raising on video games and smart phones and you are likely going to suffer for it when they enter adulthood with no social skills...
The problem is a culture that encourages dependency
And that very dependency you are citing is the computer and its video games and the smart phone......
Like I said, take their computer and smart phone away and send them outside to play............What's so hard about that?

WTF are you talking about? My kids play outside with their friends all the time. And sometimes they play video games.
It's called raising well-rounded children but since you've never tried it, I don't expect you'd have a clue as to how it's done.
But, hey, go buy your future kids a landline and then come talk to me about the awesome social skills they've developed.
Kids learn their behavior from their parents.
Do you use that language around your kids?
If not, why here? That pretty much sums up my impression of you as a parent who prefers to use computer games and smart phones as pacifiers for your 9 and 7 year old kids..
