These columns have many times observed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s failure to set limits on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. To trigger the appointment of a special counsel, federal regulations require the Justice Department to identify the crimes that warrant investigation and prosecution — crimes that the Justice Department is too conflicted to investigate in the normal course; crimes that become the parameters of the special counsel’s jurisdiction.
Rosenstein, instead, put the cart before the horse: Mueller was invited to conduct a fishing expedition, a boundless quest to hunt for undiscovered crimes, rather than an investigation and prosecution of known crimes.

He doesn't fall into the Mueller is Okay camp. In this article he makes the case that the way Mueller is bringing his initial charges is tantamount to perverting the laws being used so that once underway, he can over reach and claim everything is a conspiracy in the Trump administration and in the earlier campaign.
We will not know what direction this all goes for about another 60 days in my opinion. But if it starts to go bad, it will be a downhill snowball in the media with little stopping whatever spin it starts with.
I am posting this, not tot start the normal back and forth about Mueller, but to look at McCarthy's detailed review of the legal perversions he sees underway and discuss that in detail.

In May 2017 when Mueller was appointed to the Special Investigation, if the Public knew the vast corruption in the FBI and DOJ, the Special Investigation would have directed upon the FBI and DOJ criminals.
That this “prosecutor” hasn’t found anything by now regarding collusion indicates that there’s nothing there to begin with, and that he’s a just another lousy lawyer.
Fire him.

Another Sessions FUBAR. Dump him if he wont un-recuse himself after using the wrong law to recuse himself.

I’m a firm believer that if something or someone is totally wrong/illegal and it involves me, and they continue, I will do what has to be done to end it. I will not let a self made rule or a threat, control the situation.
Doing what is right has always been the way to go and the thing to do. There is too much wrong doing that is being allowed... it’s in Trump’s rights, to stop it.. to bring it to a halt. No amount of threats or ‘this the way we do it’. cam come before DOING WHAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.. and what mueller and the rest of those who say let it continue... are totally wrong... totally out of their legal allowances... totally after our President.. and there is no way in hell I’d put up with it... no matter what!!!

I don’t think Trump is the kind of guy who let’s himself get pushed around...unlike the hamster Sessions.
All of congress who are saying Trump can’t interfere with the illegal mueller... oh yes, he can... and oh yes he should.. He can go before the public and state all they are doing that is illegal (numbers of people do not know this) and then stop the investigation under the laws that what mueller is doing is beneath the level of decency or legality.
I don’t know what has gotten into Trey Gowdy but he is saying things that are not what he should be saying. “If you have an innocent client, act like it”.... Trump is innocent... but mueller is still hunting for something he can hang on... and that is not his job to go into things that were before Trump even ran for President. mueller is hunting and that is not right... not at all. What Trump did as a businessman and what he bought and sold, is none of mueller’s business... it’s no one’s business. He is not a politician and was not one in years past.
