Couple of weeks later I was waiting on the same two couples. This time just before they were about to leave I approached the table:
“Do you need change?” I asked as I picked up the tray and cash.
“No everything was great. Thanks”
I looked at the thief and she just glared at me.
I never saw them again.
“Party of four left the cash Including tip. Then one of the two women came back as if she forgot something. And took my tip right in front of me”
The owner of a Mexican restaurant in our town said there’s a group of beauticians who eats lunch there. A certain one will do the same thing — say she forget something and then comes and scoops up all the tips from that table.
