Oh, yeah, I understood you weren’t being harsh. I think where I’m disagreeing on the “treatment” part.
Anything can be treated, but AIDS cannot be cured - and I don’t expect it ever will - and those who live with it have a pretty miserable existence dealing with it- it saps much of their energy, for one.
You are indeed blessed to live in an era where AML is both treatable and even curable.
