Roseanne made a triumphant return Tuesday night, blowing past projections with a 5.2 adults 18-49 rating and 18.2 million total viewers for the debut of its revival, which drew 10% more viewers than the original series finale 21 years ago. While nostalgia was expected to bring in eyeballs, no one predicted such a huge turnout on premiere night for the blue-collar family sitcom with a Donald Trump-supporting protagonist, especially among the younger demographic. But then, few predicted that Trump would become the Republican nominee and would win the presidential election when he first announced his candidacy.

If you read the article Roseanne killed it east of the I-5 and west of I-95.
Would be nice to see this show to be culturally significant for conservatives but all it takes a little mischief and insincere show runners to sink a popular tv show.
The show will be under constant fire from the progressive leftists and have weekly boycotts called for every time something controversial is aired.

It was not conservative so much as libertarian. Gays and Trannys were OK to Roseanne. But not trump haters
Let’s all remember that ABC is the same Broadcaster that axed the highly rated Lasts Man Standing last year, which featured a Conservative Tim Allen taking shots at Liberals / Obama. ABC knew at the time they were rewinding Roseanne and there was no way in hell they were going to have two Primetime shows with a Conservative slant Character. Such BS that the show was cancelled because of production costs. The cast of Rosanne is as big or bigger than Last Man Standing and a much bigger name cast $$$ top to bottom.
I think those to the right are over excited about this. I watched the original show, I watched the new one and liked it. As much as I like Roseanne’s common sense I dislike the character of Darlene’s son. Jackie always was a weirdo so her joining the liberal cult only makes sense. It could be good. They have to walk a fine line.

watched last night. It’s a show about a little tranny boy who the whole family adores with a couple positive Trump lines thrown in. By the middle of the season it will be like all other shows, liberal and gay.
Remember 24? started out great, but started slowly turning, by the end, non-watchable.
I found it ok, but you can see it is going to be a freak show. There was no conservatism in it and the cross dressing boy was weird.
Old Roseanne was good for the first couple years and then went straight hardcore lib.

Tim Allen said in one interview that they already had another season ‘in the can’, meaning that production was done for another season.
Sure would be funny if Roseanne brought Tim Allen on for a cameo appearance.
Let’s see what the ratings are by episode 10 and then we can proclaim colossal hit.
Why can’t they be located in the ‘same town’? and actually be ‘friends’ or even neighbors?...............

Deadline Hollywood & the Hollywood Elite Low life could take a hint from the disjointed household of “Roseanne”. looking at the mix, which is alive and well in most American “normal” families, today. One has only to look back at the past to see the materpieces of film, that once blessed the silver screen. Sad, but, no more!!!
