Wish I could say I was anywhere close that but alas I still live in a city for now.
I grew up that way, semi rural but with a big garden, canning, buying sides of beef and freezing, etc. That was many years ago!

Just finishing our last few packages of meat from a side of beef. Going to have to get on a list for another. In a pinch I buy organic ground beef, but it’s way more expensive, so that would just be while we are waiting.
