While you’re at it, if you could be so kind...swing your view to look at the tennis court profile at a 300 degree heading (this would be looking at the court from where the chess board side walk is), and use a rather low, oblique angle.

Not sure I get your point. With vertical exaggeration set to 0.01, (my default setting) the tennis court always looks flat (as expected). First tennis court I ever saw, though, surrounded by a raised dirt berm. (windbreak?)...
BTW, I'm more interested in that checkerboard area on the edge of the cliff, and have it labeled, "WTH?".
Starting from the center of the tennis court, I have the center of the "checked thing" (@ midline of the road intersecting it) at a distance of ~406 feet, on a heading of ~132 degrees -- and from the flagpole/gnomon at the center of the white "sundial circle" I have a distance of ~345 feet, on a heading of ~187 degrees.
Is that what you're calling "the chess board sidewalk"? (On the 2/6/2017 overflight?)
Doesn't look like a sidewalk, to me (edges are too irregular) -- and, it appears to cast a shadow. Looks like a covering -- or, almost, like a masking graphic overlay, somehow inserted into the Google Earth database.
The 2/6/2017 is the only place the "checkerboard" appears. Other overflights show an irregular white area -- but, no checkerboard. And, on the latest (11/26/2017) overflight in the database I have, it is completely gone!
I had mentally tagged the point where that road ends at the cliff as a candidate dumping spot for spoil dirt from the tunneling. And, the (badly overexposed and "washed out" 10/24/2017 image shows a truck backed up there, with a dark area of material "spilling down" the edge of the cliff...
