((Just dropping this here - we long ago were dissecting who were in that group of Mary Jacoby's visit to the WH, that stayed so long.. there were 6 people, IIRC))
@GreggJarrett can you look into this? April 13, 2016 White House meeting. Conflict? FISA chat? Robert Mueller: WilmerHale Aaron Zebley - Justin Cooper's (Hillary's IT guy) atty, WilmerHale Stefanie Osburn - Obama's Exec Dir Intelligence Advisory Board
My current thinking is that Manafort was a plant and a black hat. That would explain the SWAT team raid on his home.
At the time, I thought it was the Deep State in overkill mode going after a Trump supporter. It did not make any sense that they would SWAT him, as he did not seem like any sort of flight risk or anything and his crimes (what we supposed were his crimes at that time) were decidedly un-SWAT-worthy.
Now I am wondering if it was the Trump team making sure Manafort was in custody and was not able to destroy evidence. And his crimes are likely to include treason or similar, so a likely flight risk and a likely risk of alerting accomplices and destroying evidence.
