Time for the annual first or second round loss by the Washington Capitals.

It’s so frustrating seeing them lose early every year.

Hopefully Houston will get an NHL franchise soon.

They don't even have an arena. Their AHL team had to close-up shop because the Rockets would not renew their lease. Perhaps Joel Osteen will let them in.

Sharks should be able to dispose of the Ducklings. Love to see a Sharks - Leafs final. Though I’d prefer a Sharks Cup win I hope Patty Marleau can finally get his name on it!

The new Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta has been trying to acquire an NHL franchise and they would play in the Toyota Center that they would share with the Rockets.

I think a Houston NHL Franchise would do very well.

“Toronto and Boston are the only “Original Six” teams in the Playoffs.”

And I only root for Original Six teams.

The Avalanche or Stars, I forget which, had a real nice streak in the past 6 weeks, they went on at least, a 7 game streak, if that was Colorado, I don’t expect an upset over the Predators, who had the most points of any team but it might be a possibility. Likewise, Winterpeg is very good, I’d pick them over the Wild. Winnipeg might be good for the Western Conference and they didn’t make it last year.

Only 2 Canadian teams this time? Along with Toronto, I too, should be cheering on Toronto, nothing against Boston.

Kings/Knights, that’s an interesting matchup, I’ll pick the Kings, say the expansion Knights don’t win. Watch me be wrong.

We shall see. The Ducks are hot right now. closing the season 13-4-1, still plagued by injury, Fowler and Gibson. They caught and passed the Sharks for second finishing with over 100 points for the fifth consecutive season. I don’t think they will go very far, but I don’t think the Sharks will stop them.

I’ve got Washington and Vegas in my final and they couldn’t be more different. One team has one guy and 2 minor guys (Kusnetsov and Backstrom) doing all the scoring. The other team spreads the scoring around and really have no egos on that team.

Here we go again but without the Redwings, groan. We only missed the playoffs by 25 points - pathetic. So this year I’ll be rooting for the local team - The Bolts, who beat the Wings every time I watched them play.

I’m a Penguins fan so that’s who I have from the East.

I’m rooting for the ‘Flower’ and Vegas to come out of the West.

Where did the NY Rangers go?
Some went to Florida to play golf and the rest went to Florida to play real hockey.

As long as Pegula owns the team, the Sabres will stay put. But if he ever sells, all bets are off.
