Trump brought all this sh*t down on himself by appointing an incompetent attorney general. And it will go on as long as that office remains virtually empty.

Let's see what they come up with. Mueller knows by now that the whole Russian Collusion and Obstruction of Justice things are DOA. The problem is that we know what happens when a special prosecutor is appointed. They start out with looking at one thing and end up going after another if they think a crime has been committed.
Now Mueller is looking at possible Campaign finance abuses because the money paid to this stripper may have come from the 2016 campaign. If not they are going after Cohen for banking fraud because he may have lied to the bank about a loan he took out to pay the stripper.
If all of this efforts fails, where else is he going to go I wonder?

Sessions made his recusal intentions clear at his confirmation hearing. Trump could have pulled the nomination then if he had been paying attention.

And what does any of this have to do with Russia? Oh yeah, bupkis. He's doing standard fed prosecutor stuff: railroad someone for nothing crimes, threaten him with life in prison and offer him a deal if he turns on his boss. Interestingly, his boss has pardon powers. So don't know how fed railroading works out in this case but we'll see I supposed.

You just dodged being called as a witness in the Mueller investigation.

Well some answers. According to MSNBC, “....”Among strategists, concern is at an all-caps level,” said one Republican strategist who is close to Senate leaders.
The reason for the fear, this strategist said, comes from uncertainty about how the president may react, including possibly firing special counsel Robert Mueller, who reportedly made the referral leading to the Cohen raid, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who reportedly signed off on the raids......”
So Mueller and Rosenstein are those responsible for the raid on Trumps personal attorney.
Earlier in the year there was a story that Rosenstein would be fired because of FISA abuse once the Inspector General’s report comes out.
Maybe this is all about a diversion from the DOJ Inspector General’s report that will be announced shortly.

If so, deep swamp dirty politics.

Trump needs to come out hard today and go hard alpha. Issue a full pardon to Cohen and Flynn. Announce that the Mueller investigation concludes on the last day of April and no excuses will be accepted.
Say on that date Mueller must present all his evidence. Announce that if he refuses, that Sessions, Rosenstein, and Mueller will be fired.
This would allow him to deflect BS claims that he is interfering. It gives them a couple of weeks to make their case if they have one. If they have a case of collusion, time to make it.
Its for all the marbles anyway, go big.
Amen brother! The time for playing nice is over.

One step at a time. Mueller isn’t finished destroying the principle of “lawyer-client privilege”. He’ll get around to wrecking the 1st Ammendment soon enough.

But, smartphone knows SO much better than I what I was typing.
Even better is when you repeatedly fix what it keeps screwing up, and it won’t let you.
That one slipped by me.
