I was 31 when I got married for the first (and what will be only) time. She was 35, and divorced. We are still legally married, but I moved out 18 months ago after a platonic 5 previous 5 years (not even hallway sex).
I will never get married again - it’s just not worth it. If that says something bad about me and my character, that’s fine, maybe I am too demanding (asking her to help with the laundry, dishes, general cleanliness, chauffeuring of the children, to actually be in a relationship and communicate with me, and to not talk down about me to my friends and their spouses, for examples).
