I used to drive to work in downtown Manhattan. You have to watch out for bikes coming the wrong way on a one-way street or zipping through red lights, as well as pedestrians stepping out into the street in front of you in the middle of the block without a crosswalk ALL THE TIME.
Not only do you get blamed, fined, or jailed for running over one of those idiots, it would really be no fun running someone over. And you’d have to stop your car and stay there, blocking up traffic while angry drivers call you an idiot, until the police came and finished questioning you for about six hours.
So, watch out for crazy bikers!
