A memorial marking the location of a 1969 close encounter, known as "our nation's first off-world/UFO incident," is going to be moved. Again. During a recently conducted land survey, the town found that the memorial, as well as a bench and lighting decorating the area, is still on a town right-of-way easement and must be removed by the owner or the town will do so in May, according to Town Administrator Rhonda LaBombard... Reed, who has been the most vocal about what happened that night, said he is confused as to why the memorial's position is an issue because he worked with town officials to find the memorial's current placement. "She chose the spot herself," he said of LaBombard.

They first came for Confederate monuments and no one stopped them. Now, the UFO monuments are coming for them.
Wait, if it was an “off world” incident, wouldn’t
it have happened off world???
Appropriate name to select the spot for a UFO monument. Now, I wonder why she is changing her mind.
Relocation of the third time?
"UFO Expert: I've been coming to this circle for about five years, and measuring it. The diameter and the circumference are constantly changing, but the radius stays the same. Which brings me to the number 5. There are five letters in the word Blaine. Now, if you mix up the letters in the word Blaine, mix 'em around, eventually, you'll come up with Nebali. Nebali. The name of a planet in a galaxy way, way, way... way far away. And another thing. Once you go into that circle, the weather never changes. It is always 67 degrees with a 40% chance of rain."
LOL. Sending that to my brother.
From the Christopher Guest mockumentary 'Waiting for Guffman'.
Probably his best work.
I thought the incident happened at Clear Lake, Iowa.
