‘Night Court’ actor found dead in his Asheville home, officials say

Harry Anderson, best known for his leading role in the “Night Court” sitcom in the ‘80s, died Monday morning at his home in Asheville, police officials said.

Police were called to Anderson’s home before 8 a.m., according to Christina Hallingse, Asheville police public information officer.

I preferred Ellen Foley from the first season, who was a place holder till Markie Post was available.

I liked Markie Post and Marsha Warfield, but the era that featured Karen Austin, Ellen Foley, and Selma Diamond was just that better time for the show.

Yes, jumping up and down in the Lincoln bedroom during the Clinton regime. Takes away from the looks of a woman as much as a tramp stamp.

Harry Anderson was also an excellent magician, and performed some illusions that were rather disturbing—like pushing large needles "through" his arm, etc...

But the show didn’t bring up liberal themes very often.

That’s why I liked it.

It was brainless entertainment.

now MOST TV is brainless but not entertaining
