LOL...my dad used to say “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!” or “Jesus H. Christ” when he was completely exasperated.
He was pretty religious in those days, and I think he tried to refrain from saying it. But the worst thing out of his mouth was “Damn”...I didn’t hear him use the “F” word until he was in his late sixties!
When he used an epithet aimed directly at us, it was to call us a “Dumb Bunny”, which we find hilarious today! Sigh. He really did try not to raise his voice at us, but we had a large family and a hot tempered Italian/Armenian mother, so he was the “controlled” one.
Boy, do I miss him.

I suspect his fathers mother was a fan of the tv show, “The FBI” I found Sr. living in Compton, Calif. He uses Zimbilist as a middle name among others.
