The teacher has serious legal jeopardy in a law suit stating he has violated the 1st amendment rights of the student.

Don’t sue the school or the school board. Sue the teacher personally, alone. Bankrupt the bastard.

I’d sue both. The school has condoned the professor’s behavior. The profesdor has commited an egregious act under the color of authority. He needs to be publicly punished.

Sounds good to me.

The teacher has serious legal jeopardy in a law suit stating he has violated the 1st amendment rights of the student.

Why? The First Amendment says: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. — Were there any laws enacted by Congress at issue here?

Seriously, not a First Amendment issue. At all.
(And no, the 14th does not alter the 1st.)

Exactly. Target the one who did it.

Of course, the left is making that harder and harder.

Only Congress can violate the 1st amendment.
