If I understand you right, you are stating that there is no way to accurately record the number of attacks by pit bull type dogs vs. other breeds. Is that correct?

Like for example Dogos and Isla Canaria dogs are in my opinion far more dangerous and larger but few of them

Did writers in the 18th and 19th century lament pit bull attacks

Pits and other bulldog strains were very common and utilized then

The old Southern White comes from that era....a progenitor of today’s American bulldog
