Art was very unorthodox.. He didn’t take any BS.. He told it like it was and establishment types like George didn’t like it. One thing they fought over were the endless commercials.
George may be good at behind the scenes management.. but as a host he is often irritating as hell.. He seldom pays close attention to what the guests are saying and more than one time guests have called him out on it. He repeats the same tired stories over and over again.. I’m sure you can guess which ones they are.. We’ve all heard them enough times. He doesn’t contribute a whole lot to the conservations.. His comments are usually limited to phrases such as ‘That might be true” because he wasn’t listening to the guest!
Last but not least, he does Not like President Trump and it shows.. But that’s ok.. Thank goodness for interesting guests.. and the weekend hosts!
Believe me.. I’m wishing more and more I could live in the past.. Simpler times.

I didn’t become political until after 9/11.. it was ‘Hell Hath No Fury Like A Former Democrat’.. And that would be me! Heh.
Spent most of my time on the Yahoo Chat political and music rooms.. Then my BF at the time showed me FR.. Shortly after I got into the swing of things and signed up. I’ve had the best times here.. So thankful for Jim and my fellow FReepers!
