But Hinckley was the son of a big oil company big shot and the family IIRC hated Reagan so little “Johnny” probably heard a lot of hate Reagan at home. Hardly. the shooter of Reagan was the mentally unstable son of very close friends of the senior Bush’s. To me, that raises all kinds of questions, especially in light of MK Ultra and such.

If you were going to shoot three rounds in the time attributed to Oswald, at that distance, the very last thing you’d want is a scope.
I have often wondered why Oswald, a Marine deserter and open Communist, was readmitted into the United States, married to a woman whose father was a colonel in the KGB. Why would Oswald have been admitted into the USSR, then released by that government? Can stupidity explain more plausibly than conspiracy can? There were certainly stupid people in the bureaucracy in 1962, when Oswald returned.
