Trotsky was even worse than Stalin. Only good thing Stalin ever did was killing that bastard.
I don’t think the USSR would have lasted as long as it did if Trotsky had won in his struggle with Stalin.
Trotsky’s philosophy of “permanent revolution” would have been even more difficult to maintain over the long haul than Stalin’s “united socialist nation”, or whatever he called it.
