I love it when they are forced to swallow their own medicine in large doses.

Oh, c’mon now. Rich leftist Whities are 100% supportive of Black folks (or rather, keeping them on the Socialist plantation), so long as they stay FAR, FAR away from them and their children.

I’ve seen this all my life; liberals talk lofty but act devious when their own interests are at stake. The Upper West Side is loaded with limousine leftists; they probably voted 20-1 for Hillary. But when they advocate some blatantly racist step to shut off integrating their own schools, they will always couch it in language such as “I don’t have a racist bone in my body”. Instead, their mantra should be: “Do as I say but not as I do”.

DeBlasio is helping them get their minds right, and down with the struggle.

After the 25% disrupt the classrooms and degrade the educational pace, what will be next? Racially based, outcome-sensitive discipline policies? You bet.

When you get right down to it white liberals, especially rich white liberals, really are the most racist people in this country. When you force these people to live with the policies they propose watch how fast these people change their tune!

It seems the super-rich, Upper Westside Manhattanite leftists have finally started their honest discussion about race...

Hahaha, now they may come to understand why white-flight is a survival technique for civilized society. Not even libturds like to be bullied and looted.

The narrator says (at 1:11 minutes) that many kids are form wealthy families.
Wealthy and yet they expect the tax payers to “educate” their kids.

Suck it up, buttercups. It’s way past time to red pill.

When I was school age we built our own school.
Bought our own buses.
Maintained our own buses.
Hired our own teachers.
Paid for our own books.
We mopped the floors.
We picked up litter on the school grounds.
Parents prepared/paid for foods to sell at sporting events.
On and on and on.

Most of the kids were from middle class families.
Some were from lower middle class families.

“Upper West Side parents angrily rant against plan to bring more black kids to their schools”

The same folks who insisted Southern school districts must racially integrate their schools in the ‘60s and ‘70s?

This is liberalism in a nutshell:

Oh,this is precious.

On a similar note Freepers with some spare time should google "Commonwealth Day School" and "Cambridge".It's the tale of a largely minority school that tried to open up on Brattle Street in Cambridge,MA.Brattle Street is home to top Harvard and MIT faculty and administration as well as other luminaries.Long story short...these "Beautiful People" succeeded in shutting down the school within a year.

Among the many who participated in this effort were Professor Laurence Tribe (Harvard Law School) and Julia Child.

Surprisingly, the Harvard Crimson did a good job covering this while,IIRC,the Boston Globe didn't even go near the story.

This is a distortion of what happened. The schools there are good and already have a fair number of Hispanic and black kids, because parts of those neighborhoods are heavily Hispanic and there is a mostly black housing project there. But the new chancellor just announced a plan to take 25% of the seats and give them to “low scoring” kids from outside of the district. And for some bizarre reason, he attacked the parents for being white, so he was the one responsible for this racial rhetoric.

They are opposed to suddenly filling the school with violent, failing students - and believe me, the black and Hispanic parents at those schools are also opposed to it. The chancellor is the one injecting race.

He’s a deBlasio appointment (and even liberals hate deBlasio).

This...(see photo below) is how most liberals live. These upscale gated communities - complete with pretentious names like Copper Ridge, Seven Canyon Heights or Quarry Oaks, is where many liberals live. Most of them require you to drive by a guard shack to gain entry. Residents will have transponders to open the gates but visitors will get the full interrogation. They only "diverse" people the residents there will ever see are the Mexican women that clean their houses, the Latino men who do their landscaping and perhaps the nice "colored" boy that cleans their pool. And yes, when they are among themselves, they will actually say things like " nice colored boy" to describe a black person. I've heard it for myself.

They are absolute hypocrites.

In the city, such as the Upper East Side of NYC, you will have buildings with doormen instead of the gates with guard shacks. But it's the same type of living. They are completely insulated from the "diversity" that gets preached to the rest of us.

LOL, poor babies. I would probably not feel this way if these weren't bleeding heart liberals that want to tell the rest of us what to do but think they are to good to live by the rules they shove down the throats of the rest of us.

I hope they are ridiculed and humiliated.

I have learned that like some “Conservatives” there are “Liberals” who are just “knee jerk” Liberals.

What I mean? Are there “knee jerk” Conservatives? Yes.

Someone whose political identification is just a knee jerk reaction to some issues. It’s someone who has done little thinking of foundational political principals and therefor is not supportive of a position out of principle, out of deeply thinking about what are the principles that should guide their thinking about an issue, they just have a knee jerk political identification (oh, yea, I’m “Liberal”/”Conservative” and take (what I am told) is the “Liberal”/”Conservative” position.

There was some knee jerk not so Conservative reactions this week on a Supreme Court decision that the newest justice, Gorsuch, agreed with. Many reacted in a knee jerk fashion on the tag words “immigration” and “felony conviction”. Yet, what they objected to was that the executive branch was not going to get away any longer with imposing an ill defined law that is not transparent about who will and will not fall under it. They were in affect supporting a power of the executive - to in affect write law all by itself - which is not a truly Conservative position at all.

Well many Liberals do that sort of thing all the time, maybe even more so than Conservatives - go with the crowd because that’s what the crowd says is our kind of view.

We have seen this with so many Liberals we have known. They lose when debating an issue because they don’t have a principled foundation for their position; it’s always been their “good intentions” above all else.

Well some of those Liberals in the Upper West Side of Manhattan are waking up to find they are just knee jerk Liberals who have always gone along with the Liberal agenda because “it was the right thing to do” - it didn’t matter why it was the right thing to do. Now they will start to question their own “Liberalism”.

I just wish some Conservatives put principles over outcomes, and quit being like Liberals. It is the only way the principles gain traction. Set them aside over outcomes and your political label becomes a bunch of slogans, but it’s empty of a consistent set of principles.
