Unparalleled government abuses of power are about to become public. The question is what we, the people, will do in response to this overt attempt by deep state players to strip us of our freedom.
Four recent developments drive home the unsettling nature of our situation:
First, Charles Lipson writes how Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) “is making a deeply troubling allegation: An official investigation was mounted against an American presidential campaign with no official information to support it. If so, then U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies were weaponized for partisan purposes.”
Andrew McCarthy, on the implications for equal justice under the law: “Too many Trump critics have abandoned all pretense of respecting due process.” Byron York adds: “…the generally accepted standard of justice has been turned on its head. Now, the question is: Can the accused prove the charges false? Increasingly, the president’s critics argue that the dossier is legitimate because it has not been proven untrue.”
Second, a redacted version of the House Intelligence Committee’s final report appeared on Friday, clearing Trump’s campaign of colluding with Russia but describing three troubling matters: First, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn did not lie to FBI special agents. Instead, what Michael Walsh calls the Left’s “Star Chamber of Horrors” apparently forced Flynn to accept a guilty plea to stanch his financial bleeding, which included selling his home.
Also, Sean Davis reports Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper “leaked details of a [Steele] dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later.” The chronology of Clapper’s and CNN’s behaviors is a damning tale of intentional deep state sabotage of a president.

How would one get a clue as to Sessions being woke to this struggle?
I hope PDJT is as worried for his safety as I am. I’m sure he is and is taking appropriate steps. The deep state knows they are doomed if they don’t take him out, one way or another. The very future of this country is at stake. I say in all seriousness that I was going to leave (back to Canada - not much better, I know - if Hillary had won. However, it’s not just Hillary, it is the entire establishment, both Democrats and Republicans alike.
Having said that, I do believe that this is the smartest man we’ve had as President in our lifetimes (I’m 50+) and I have confidence in him. And I pray for his success even though I’m not a Christian.
The worst scandal is that such low life characters could ever reach the positions in government that these reached.
Congress and past administrations should have fired them and prevented them from ever getting another government job.
Schumer, with his “advice” to President Trump regarding the dangers of crossing the CIA and FBI, demonstrated that he knew of their past blackmailing tactics.
That makes him as guilty.
And don’t try to convince me that no one else knew.
I believe that recent events cast a shadow over everything back to and including the Warren investigation.
It also makes it more easily understood how so many men who run for office as fire breathing reformers turn into pussycats within a short while after getting in office.
Some people would never get a clue.

While you’re praying for Trump, might I suggest, you throw in some requests for God to give you wisdom regarding Jesus.
Then your prayers are not going past the ceiling. The only prayer God will hear from you is repentance and turning to Jesus Christ to pay your sin debt. If you have a hard heart, then ask your Creator to soften it and help you to believe. I'd re-think your tactical position in light of the spiritual warfare you are in.

If you believe in the veracity (and interpretation) of #QAnon, then there have already been numerous attempts on his life.
According to the interpretation, every time Q mentions “As the World Turns”, this is taken to indicate an attempt on Trump’s life, based on the fact that this was the live soap opera playing that had to be interrupted in 1963, to announce the shooting of JFK.
Knowing Jesus is our salvation is wonderful but it does not keep God from hearing the prayers of those who don’t know. There are plenty of examples of non-believers in the Bible who asked and were heard.
Time to dust off the good old Ceausescu Protocol.
