Aside from the content of the article, Foy is incredible in the series. She plays the queen understated, classy and very smart.

She’s such a good actress that just the slightest raising of her eyebrow or almost unnoticeable inflection of her voice alone can completely change a scene.

Agreed she is fantastic. She has a very tough role and does it so well. The Emmy voters sadly seem to prefer scenery chewing and over the top performances.

she is excellent so is the one playing Victoria. But the way decision seems right to me and fir based on the actors history and known to the audience,.
