It was the first thing that struck me when the Trump campaign first began in summer 2015, he was speaking the common sense patriotic conservatism of my father. Almost to a word, he was saying on the debate stage and in speeches exactly what my dad has been saying round the table for 20 years.

I’m 31 and many of my friends my own age have said similar :)
