I was gonna put this question under “a friend said to me” but hell, the world hates a coward.
It was 45 today in NYC. It’s gonna be 82 in a few days.
I dont remember with my middle aged brain if that’s the norm through spring or if it’s just a random occurrence based on normal weather patterns this time of year.
Forget about global climate change nonsense, HOW does weather change 40 degrees in a few days? Fascinating.
But in full disclosure, I am embarrassed but courageous enough to say that the SJW onslaught combined with the extreme change in weather here the next few days, for a BRIEF part of a second, made me wonder :(
We’re only human :(
I HOPE THERE’S NO VIKING KITTIES IN MY FUTURE!!!
You can get 40 degree plus swings in 36 hours in Texas.
I was in Normandy in early May in 2006. The weather was gorgeous. In Paris, people were still wearing sweaters and winter coats. I must have looked like a freak to them because I wasn't wearing a jacket or coat. The temperatures were in the high 50's or low 60's. Later that same May, the bus tour I was on was in the Scottish Highlands. It was snowing, and some of the people on the bus were from Australia. They'd never seen snow before, and had the bus driver stop so they could get pictures of it to show the people back home.

For the record, I only found the one report for the former, and that was by searching during the last 24 hours:

45 mins ago - April 2018 is in the bag. Lower 48 temperatures were anomalously cold across much of the central & eastern USA. Monthly temp of 48.5°F is more than 3°F below the last 30-years average. Coolest April since 1997 (47.5°F) and almost 5°F cooler than last year (53.2°F).pic.twitter.com/JL8faZuVSS. 8:41 AM - 1 May 2018.
