Maybe we could cut out the 2 dozen references in the Bible about how the shedding of innocent blood is an "abomination" to God. Killing innocent human beings is prohibited because of that "image o God" thing:

Genesis 9:6
Anyone who sheds the blood of a human being, by a human being shall that one’s blood be shed; For in the image of God have human beings been made.

So that rules out the idea that about a billion followers of Islam are worthless and could "disappear from the face of the earth" with little loss.

Deluded they are in their false religion. But worthless they are not. You'll have to talk to God about that.
