Mitt Romney: “My Favorite Meat Is Hot Dog”
Boston Magazine ^ | May 4, 2018 | Spence Buell

Posted on 05/04/2018 11:09:10 AM PDT by Trump20162020

The former Massachusetts governor and shapeshifting perennial candidate spilled the beans on his hot dog meat habit in a moment captured by The Washington Times, which just published a lengthy profile on Romney, who is running for Senate in Utah:

“My favorite meat is hot dog, by the way. That is my favorite meat,” he told a gathering of supporters as they joined him recently for a casual dinner organized by his campaign. “My second favorite meat is hamburger. And, everyone says, oh, don’t you prefer steak? It’s like, I know steaks are great, but I like hot dog best, and I like hamburger next best.”

BACKSTORY REFERENCE——Uranium company deal nearly done;
Utah town and mill part of sales pkg to subsidiary of Russian nuclear agency
By Judy Fahys / The Salt Lake Tribune / December 13, 2010 / FR Posted on 4/3/2018, 11:52:50 AM by bitt

A Canadian mining company is close to finalizing a deal that will give a Russian company controlling interest in its uranium operations, which include a Utah town, a uranium mill and thousands of acres of claims. In October, four members of Congress urged the U.S. Treasury Department to block plans by Uranium One to sell majority ownership to the mining company, Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), whose parent company is Rosatom, the Russian nuclear agency, to protect national security. Since then, the Treasury Department has approved Uranium One’s plans, as has the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Utah Division of Radiation Control. (hat tip demsux) .....that UTAH AG, the one Sessions appointed (and can seat a grand jury)
just so happens to be in the jurisdiction where much of the Clintons’ Uranium One deal was centered.
Longshot, but THAT UTAH GUY could nab even MUELLER and cancel the insurance policy.........

AG Sessions’ Utah move indicates he is zeroing in on issues surrounding the Clintons Uranium One,
and, The Clinton Foundation/State Dept Pay-to-play scandals. THIS MOVE INDICATES potential criminality.

Romney is indeed a shape-shifter.
He will say whatever you want to hear.
Senator Windsock.
We don’t need that.

Anyone who believes that....

This is just like how New York politicians always stopped at Nathans on Coney Island to have a hot dog and show they identified with "the common man".

Sort of fell apart when Nelson Rockefeller, who had never eaten a hot dog in his life, picked it up and cheerfully munched into it from the side in front of all the cameras.

Ha ha.

Or Poppy Bush going on about his love of pork rinds.

The born-of-the-manor pol trying to display his common touch is almost always comical.
