Kerri Rochelle Green was evicted from her Houston apartment in March.

Weeks later, on April 23, a manager at the complex made a horrifying discovery when she went into her old unit to make sure it was empty. Green's two young children had apparently been left inside the hot, trash-filled apartment, according to KPRC.

The 2-year-old boy and the 10-month-old girl were each wrapped in several blankets and were found lying in the same crib, without access to food or water. The malnourished-looking boy appeared to be the same size as the little girl, according to the Houston Chronicle.

KHOU reported that the baby's face was caked in vomit and dry mucus, and her brother was initially unresponsive to words and touch when police arrived at the Yorkshire apartment complex in east Houston.

Of course she did because Planned Parenthood leaves babies in dumpsters all the time.

You wonder about people sometimes.

Yes I know eviction is a life crisis. But, is the so lacking in motherly instinct, to abandon her children?

Does it matter? We all know who to thank for this.

If they were in there for weeks with no water, they’d be dead.

It’s unclear how long they were alone. They were very sick.

The baby’s face was caked in vomit and dried snot. I’d say both were close to death.

At that court hearing, Green told a judge she is unemployed but that she was studying to become a nurse at Houston Community College, according to KHOU.

Yeah, she'd make a great nurse.

She received the eviction notice but apparently did not obey it until much later.

“She received the eviction notice but apparently did not obey it until much later. “

Most places you have what 30 days to get out? Unless a court says other wise?

Wait just a minute. No food or water for weeks but are still alive? Someone is getting a bit loose with the facts.

That's two more black kids who will remain in the system until they turn 18 because nice caring white parents won't be able to adopt them.

Studying to be a nurse. My aunt fanny. Guess that's the female version of dreaming of becoming a rap star.

Prostitutes in the bible are better mothers than what we’ve bred.

Sounds like a drug addict to me. “Studying to become a nurse”? Dream on honey; I’m sure that makes a whole lot of sense after a bong hit or hit off a crack pipe, but not in the real world.

It sounds like they were without water for about 3 days... I’d be amazed if it were longer, especially given the heat. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as disgusted and horrified as anyone. I just don’t think they survived with no water in the heat for 14 days.

I'd think she'd be prime material to replace Michelle Obama in community outreach programs.

She has demonstrated experience at being a no-show.
