Firstly, he’s known for “Rocky”, the rags-to-riches movie that made him an overnight sensation. Secondly, he’s known for “Judge Dredd”, and essentially ruining a classic comic book character. I will bet you that if you poll 100 people about what Stallone is known for, you won't get one who says "Judge Dredd".

You are correct. It’s Rocky & Rambo.
Great line in “Rambo” (i.e., the 4th movie) where missionaries try to enlist him to go into a war-torn area with their supplies.
Rambo: “Whattya got?”
Missionary: “Bibles, food, basic supplies”
Rambo: “They need guns.”
Later the missionary party is captured. When Rambo hears the news he says, “They shoulda took guns.”
