No doubt. There is no margin in a series like this. The teams are basically identically good. But somebody has to win... it is all just for fun. I liked seeing Tomlin at the game - I thought he was a big time moron but now I have upgraded him to semi-moron status!
Good point. A great goalie can help elevate a mediocre team. A great team doesn’t need much more than a slightly better than average goalie.

Look back over the years and notice how rare it is for a team to win the Stanley Cup with a goalie that won the Vezina Trophy the same year. I think it’s only happened 3 times since 1980.
The Bolts will fry them, of course, but the Capitals should enjoy it while they can.
