No proof this was said.
No proof he has cancer.
Prove me wrong.

His life was political, and his death will be the removal of a political thorn in the side of conservatives. Don’t care if you don’t like it. Just the way it is.

McCain needs to man up and resign with what dignity he has left, which aint much.

Well....
Given that if I were king I would have McStain immediately hanged - my view is much harsher than yours. I hope he gets right with God. But I hope he dies this very minute.
If this was 1950 and everyone was civil I would agree with you. It isn’t.

If McCain hadn’t been so mean, uncooperative and vindictive we would not be seeing negative comments on his condition. Seems as though he earned many of the comments
I don’t see him as a great statesman as we have had in the past.

I read that John McCain felt freer to speak his mind now that he's dying
Well, if he can do that why can't anyone else?
Is freedom of speech limited to guys like him or his family?
And I haven't heard of any cure for death yet, so why does he get a pass?

Chrissie SizzleLean needs to retire to his fainting couch.
FWIW, I wouldn’t wish ill upon another human being but what he/she says & does in public is fair game with character questioning thrown in.

We should not joke about a man's impending death. He will meet his Maker very soon, as all of us will do some day. However, it is disputed whether John McCain is a hero. In 2008, he begged to represent conservatives, but ran a terrible campaign and seemed genuinely pleased to have lost. Since 2008, he has behaved consistently like an extreme liberal, supporting open borders, Obamacare and dissing conservatives, especially the President. Decades ago, he took the military oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, the President, and all superiors. How does his role in the pee dossier fit that? John McCain should be pondering how he will be judged before the God Who commanded us to love one another, rather than fussing over how to cause trouble after he's dead.

debunked conspiracy theory that McCain had informed on his comrades while a prisoner of war during Vietnam. Debunked by what? Thousands of hours of Vietcong surveillance video? What a joke. HIS word is all we have to go on.
To: Trump20162020
Oh get the heck out of here Cilizza. I sympathize with anyone dealing with dying. But McCain is demanding attention trying to control what happens after his death. For example, Hatch is cited negatively here and he’s a gentleman.

Some of us view death with no fear, and even a bit of humor. I laugh and joke about death, not as avoidance, but as it is not that big of a deal.
I already physically died and came back. It is a lot better there than here. If I die again today, that is fine.

last four decades of his life to public service as a House member, a senator and a two-time presidential candidate. During which he committed crimes FAR worse than those which put James Trafficant behind bars.
To: 1Old Pro
Was she joking or restating known fact? And frankly, why is McCain not retiring from his seat if he cannot serve? That's the only good thing he's doing. Arizona law states that if he resigns now, a special election will be called. If he croaks after June, the GOP Gov. appoints his successor.
