YOUNG PEOPLE are immersed in anti-GOD rhetoric in public school K-12, then at night via television, movies, and video games.
Its not just the current snowflakes. This goes back to the boomers and before. I fit the boomer group. I remember my sainted grandmother who died in 1955 and went to church each Sunday talking at dinner one night about not believing all the miracles in the Bible. She kept her faith in God and wanted to raise good people in her family.
People (and pollsters) sometimes confuse belief in God, or Higher Power, spirit of the universe, etc. with subscribing to a definite religion.
People (like me) who are spiritual, but not religious, have found God without someone else’s “spin” (for lack of a better word).
Religion often helps, but is not required for finding God.
Imho.
Peace :)
This is non-news. Young people become more religious when they marry and have children or just get older.
You got it. Back in the 90’s I often heard Christians and conservatives say that we were going to win because we were having more children than the other side. But then Christians and conservatives send their children to government training centers and then allow them to be saturated with popular mass culture.
Giving your children to the enemy for indoctrination is a most curious victory strategy.
I always ask
What DO you believe in ?
That is bigger than YOU ?
