Seinfeld specializes in observational comedy, and that’s the genius of his craft. He looks at little “nothings” in life and makes fun of them. And guess what? THEY WORK !!
They work because they have some "reality" to them AND they are funny. The Trump bashing comics don't base things on reality ( it's their lies) and the hateful vitriolic delivery ain't funny. Like most things, it's pretty simple, hard, but simple.
