A 52-year-old woman has been mauled to death by a pack of seven flea-infested dachshunds.
Mother-of-two Tracy Garcia was brutally attacked by the savage dogs - which belonged to her neighbor - near her home outside Ardmore in Oklahoma.
Cops said they shot and killed one of the beasts on Thursday night when it charged at them.
They captured the others, which were put down at the request of the owner.
Six of the dogs are believed to have been mixed with a terrier, but one - the biggest and oldest - is thought to be part-border collie.

In other words, the headline is false. Unless it was written tongue in cheek, yes.
A link from a thread posted here on FR yesterday showed the bodies of all seven dogs and they all were some type of Pit mix.

Extremely misleading headline - all dogs were muts/mixed breeds that just happen to include some Dachshund in them. Terrier was the primary breed common to them but one. And look at the pictures - the only weenie dog trait is somewhat shorter legs and slightly elongated bodies - These are not what most headline scanners would think of.

Flea infested dachshunds are the worst kind. I had one years ago whose legs were soo short they didn’t reach the ground. Taking him out for a walk was like pulling a half filled mylar balloon. I learned the hard way when he stopped to pee that I should stand behind or in front of him because he would start spinning around.
