“Unlike those peasants who worship royalty across the water, we have a Constitution that guarantees a speedy trial.”

Except in some states, like North Carolina, where an inmate was jailed for 4 and a half years awaiting trial, and it was ruled not to be a violation of his right to a speedy trial, because it wasn’t a deliberate delay, the courts were just too crowded to get to his case...

(North Carolina was also the site of the infamous Duke lacrosse case... built around a crime that never happened.)

Sounds like the Hillary ruling...no obstruction as there was no intent to obstruct.
