April 22, 2000
An unidentified protester holds up a sign across the street from the White House as US President Bill Clinton talks to the media 22 April, 2000, in Washington, DC, about US Attorney General Janet Reno's decision to order a raid to seize six-year-old Elian Gonzalez from his Miami relatives' home. Clinton said 'I believed that it was the right thing to do. She made the decision, she managed this, but I fully support what she did.'

FYI
Janet Reno died??? Were there any Branch Davidians in the local area?
I remember that day. Ironman found the picture at 3:00AM and printed it out. He brought it to our White Hose protest. People came out from the White House tour and asked if it was photoshopped. We told them no.

“CLINTON LEGACY”
The poster says. If only.
If only the Clinton Legacy was as innocuous and inoffensive as the Elian Gonzalez capture.
But look at what that legacy has become. A twisted, lying tale of graft, corruption, political espionage, sexual deviancy, rape and murder.
I’ve long believed LBJ was out nation’s worst president. But the Clintons - during and especially after Slick Willie left office - they have done far more harm than LBJ did.
Elian was legally in the country due to the wet foot, dry foot law for Cubians.
Well hey, you are a smidge more attractive than I had envisioned.
I was thinking “grumpy old man with tufts of nose hair, maybe yelling at clouds”.
You should not be so jealous.
I cannot help it.
It’s a human condition, this jealousy that possess me.
Yes I had a printer driver (if I recall correctly) Doctor Raoul gave me that printed your page onto four 8.5x11 sheets that you then simply taped together. Got that done in the middle of the night to make the Saturday morning regularly scheduled Freep at the White House.
The good old day.
Now you’ve done it and I’m missing MrConfettiMan.
He found greater Intelligence than he finds of the FR.
