I can tell you from experience, giving CPR to a corps which used to be your child sticks with you for a long, long time.

Calling 911 is first according to the red cross. You don’t even have to stay on the line. But take 15 or 20 seconds to call 9/11... when you hear them answer, give an address and say you have to perform CPR and cannot answer questions.
