I find this odd. No simple training in CPR? Every parent should be familiar with the process.

It might have saved her son's life.

Not likely. CPR success rates are very low,10%.

I can tell you from experience, giving CPR to a corps which used to be your child sticks with you for a long, long time.

This woman is using her grief to help people. She has my respect and prayers.

Calling 911 is first according to the red cross. You don’t even have to stay on the line. But take 15 or 20 seconds to call 9/11... when you hear them answer, give an address and say you have to perform CPR and cannot answer questions.
