Got my packet of seeds from Baker Creek today. What can yall tell me about them? It’s almost too late to put in peas here, but Iam gonna try anyway. :)
We are working on the fencing on that garden this weekend. The groundhog and babies are already on the move. :(
Are you asking about Baker’s Creek or the seeds? I have never yet been able to grow peas. I think we have a bacteria in the soil that hits once the weather warms up just a wee bit.
I have found that keeping peas well watered makes a big difference if the weather is going to be really warm.
I know they tend to be cool weather plants but I’m beginning to suspect that the issue is more a matter of moisture than temperature.
