Funny, no one sues Starbucks for pimping with left over for minorities in exchange for over pricing idiots buying there the difference
Actually you are paying for the increased labor cost to withhold the cheese...
I can play lawyer too. ;-)
Since the price with or without cheese is the same, then the cheese must be free, just like the ketchup, the pickles, and the onions.
(Or else be forcibly relocated to California where they will fit right in..)
Kraft Cheese Like Substance.
i bet you can buy them without cheese for less try and order a puppy patty and see what you get
I guess they just want to keep KOSHER! OMNEY GRUBBERS!
Why can’t they just go to Burger King and get a Whopper?
This will be thrown out on the technicality that the “cheese” is not actually cheese.
Oddly enough that’s exactly where they were. They call it cheese, and sell it as such, but it aint.
Well, is a step up from “cheese substance” at least.
Lawyer needs to be disbarred
I would imagine that in some areas, south Florida being one of them, that the burgers without cheese are significantly more popular.
“Class action”...there’s your mistake right there. Now if by some astronomical chance it’s settled in your favor you’ll get a check for $.90 and a $1.50 coupon good on your next purchase of $10.00 or more.
They should be taken out the back of the courthouse and quietly beaten.
McDonald’s charges $4.50 or so for a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder with cheese (sandwich only). I don’t blame them overall, given Obamacare, minimum wage ‘equity’, and probably tons of other crap - but they have priced themselves out of range for me, so I’ve stopped going there (and need to update my tag line now).
On a recent road trip there was a McDonald’s next to a truck stop. I went to McDonald’s first, priced my meal, shook my head and walked out. Then I went to the truck stop, found a nice hot dog, fresh, warm bun, and extras for $1.50 (and 2 for $2.50). So I did eat lunch that day.
My lifestyle is changing, but still lots of McDonald’s around the world that are often much cheaper than here, and often better quality food - so I’ll still get them once in a while.
In a SANE world, you'd of course be right.
We don't live in a SANE world, we live in an INSANE world.
Coffee's too hot? Spill it in your lap and burn yourself while driving? You're entitled to MILLIONS of dollars!
Your 6" sub sammich is only 5.75 inches long? You're entitled to MILLIONS of dollars!
And that list goes on, and on, and on.
A judge isn't going to toss this lawsuit. A judge is going to find in favor of the idiots who filed the lawsuit and award them MILLIONS of dollars, and there'll be a class-action lawsuit also.
We live in an insane world. We just do.
The all day breakfast sells well, but the margins suck. Last reports I saw have it a loss leader at most restaurants.
I hate cheese. Always order any burger, anywhere without that crap on it.
Never realized it was a gold mine.
My wife likes Quarter Pounder’s but she doesn’t like the buns. So she orders them sans buns and gets charged the same as with buns.
Hmm, we may have a lawsuit here!
