The article goes on to document the fact that the NY Times continued to falsely claim the administration official said something he never said, even after the NYT was given evidence that it was false.

There are leaders and followers. Followers cannot comprehend the thinking of leaders. It looks foreign to them. Which is why they are followers.

He walked...I seem to recall that there is this book written by some famous negotiator or other some thing about the Art of the Deal and the author says "Walk."

What’s really evil about this is that the NY Times would rather wreck the peace negotiations than let Trump get any credit for them.

Mollie Hemingway writes
t is reasonable to critique the president for his communication style, including that he should have condemned The New York Times for fake news attributed to a real source instead of fake news attributed to a fake source."Not to argue too fine a point, since she does a marvelous job bashing the NY Times, but the President is correct - there is no real source for the fake news, since the fake news was, well, fake.

Tactics of propagandists. The can play either side of any issue and amplify fake fault. Packs of rabid propagandists turn faster than a “bum on a baloney sandwich”.

At the VERY LEAST, we need to END the virtual inability to sue the media for libel and slander - those protections should only be afforded to a media that at least attempts to be unbiased.
The media now is HIDING beyond those ‘protections’ to INTENTIONALLY LIE about Trump. They MUST be held liable.
