The Left cheered Norman Lear when he produced such programs as “All in the Family,” “Sanford & Son,” “Maude,” “The Jeffersons” and “Good Times.” In today’s environment such programs would be censored or canceled because offensive and derogatory ethnic and racial terms were frequently used by the characters.
For all the talk of Lear’s genius, it is worth noting that “All in the Family” and “Sanford & Son” were not originals; each show was an “Americanized” adaptation of a successful television sitcom from Great Britain.
It was a dumb thing to say. And I am disappointed because Trump has been countering the Lefts attacks well lately, so Rosanne gave the professional outrage culture some low hanging fruit and now her show is cancelled, giving them a “win.”
People can’t take a joke anymore. She’s not racist. She’s has a gay daughter, a cross dressing grandson and a black granddaughter on the show. Seems pretty diverse to me. As usual, gross overreaction to be talked about ad nauseous on cable.
Jarrett is not black, she is Iranian. Iranian-born. And she has made statements that implied her first loyalty was to Islam and Iran, not the United States.
If anybody in the corrupt Department of Justice or the FBI was interested, I believe it could be easily proven that she has committed treason against the United States. Then again, laws are for republicans and little people.
And although it’s irrelevant I will say it anyway. I have seen some very attractive Iranian women, Jarrett is not one of them. In my opinion she is butt ugly.
Canceled her show.
Amazing how ABC seems to be the only network that cancels their most successful shows ("Last Man Standing" comes to mind)
She’s lucky she merely got her show cancelled. Look what happened to Joan Rivers.
She is not ethnically Iranian. She is the daughter of two light-skinned African-Americans who traveled to Iran, where she was born.

She is still a butt ugly traitor who should be at the least in leg irons in Leavenworth. More deservedly she should be developing a close relationship with a rope and a lamp post.
If anything they have the same wig maker and ophthalmologist.

I have already been corrected on that.
Though I am fed up with the liberal notion that one drop of black blood in one’s ancestry makes one “black”.....if one is a leftist.
But not “black enough” if not a liberal.
