The article says that there were 13 holes in Kennedy, though Sirhan's gun could only hold 8 bullets.

I would think the autopsy would have made it clear how many bullets entered Kennedy.

I think this is conspiracy theory nonsense.

That story was been around for a long time. I read a book about it that included the actor who played John Milner in American Graffiti. Can't recall the name of the book though.

That was actually what I was thinking & a pretty obvious possibility. Someone returns fire at the shooter & instead shoots the intended victim.

With bullet holes coming from the back & more bullets than the perp’s gun could hold, it would be nice if they would JUST BE HONEST. That way conspiracy theories don’t take hold.

No, as Sirhan was pulled away from RFK, he continued to fire two more rounds. This is in Noguchi’s autopsy report, available online. The kill shot was the first one that went in through the mastoid process (bony protrusion of the skull).
