In the late 70’s I smoked a joint in the bathroom. On walking back to my seat I got a stern look from the Stewardess while she said ‘we know what you were doing’. And that was it ...

Until my wife and I joined the mile high club. It was a red eye flight from Orlando to San Diego. Again, we got frowns from the stewardess. Funny thing though is we had to wait for 2 other couples to get our turn.

I’m old enough to remember when commercial airlines had an ashtray built into every seat on the plane...

There was a smoking lounge on the Hindenburg, but that didn’t work out so well.

"... you have to wonder whether there will be some sort of backlash from the non-user general public."

Airplanes need to have an inflight ejection mechanism for such potheads and other disrupters so that the rest of the passengers can get on to their intended destination without delays.

The passenger was not being "drunk and disorderly"

Maybe the airlines should start pumping weed smoke thru the oxygen system.......and pass out cookies rather than alcohol.

Everyone knows that if you smoke pot on a plane, you:

A) Use a pipe, not a doob, so there is less lost smoke, and

B) exhale into a bag and then spray some Ozium (sp?) brand air freshener into said bag.

Ozium binds with the smoke particles. works like a charm.

Wondering why all the democrat states are trampling over one another to legalize pot.

You’re no better than the guy in the loo

The plane was diverted because a fire/smoke alarm went off. They are required to divert so the plane can be inspected. Same would have happened with a regular smoke
