Does any conservative today still actually believe the MSM Oswald nonsense, considering how the Deep State is caught every day showing its hand?
Sheesh, anyone who actually still buys this idiocy is a true coincidence theorist!
Could he drive or not?
My first Car was a 1955 Chevy 210 2 Door Station Wagon.
I’ve only seen two other Chevy tri five two door Wagons since though I’ve seen many more Nomads.
Disclaimer: I had nothing to do with the Kennedy assassination.
That’s a keeper. Looks like the passenger side taillight is possibly aftermarket.
This barber, Shasteen, seen Oswald drive to his shop for haircuts several times. Twice Oswald took a 14-year-old boy with him.
Without going into all the drama surrounding the kid, he was found out to be a Russian language student of Ruth Paine’s at the time.
As an adult, the kid with Oswald turned out to be the actor Bil Hootkins. The whole thing with Shasteen & the kid is weird since he came back to his shop once alone & lectured him on Communism.
Drop an LS7 in there and air bag shocks. 8>)
But, did Raphael Cruz ever ride in it?
Was Ted Cruz’ dad riding shotgun?
Paine Family Connections to the CIA- Both Ruth & Michael Paines were tied to the CIA. Here are some facts:
According to a recently declassified CIA document, Ruths sister, Sylvia Hyde Hoke, was listed as an employee of the agency in the Falls Church, VA local directory in 1961. Ruth visited and stayed with her sister in September 1963. Ruth admits that her sister may have worked for an outfit.
Ruths father, William Avery Hyde, was an insurance executive who went to work for USAID (United States Agency for International Development), which was and is a well known cover for CIA personnel. Declassified documents show that Hyde had contacts with the CIA, which at least considered him for use in an operation in Vietnam.
Michael Paines mother, Ruth Forbes Paine was a friend of CIA director Allen Dulles mistress and fellow spy, Mary Bancroft. Michaels mother invited Dulles and Bancroft to visit the Forbes private island (Naushon Island) near Marthas Vineyard. The Paines were also frequent visitors to the island.
LIAR: Ruth Paine testified she brought Marina Oswald to live with her in order to learn the Russian language.
TRUTH: Ruth Paine was already fluent in Russian and had taught Russian in Dallas area schools.
Ruth Paine claimed that Oswald did not know how to drive.
TRUTH:
Marina Oswald, Robert Oswald and Ruth and Michael Paine all told the Warren Commission in no uncertain terms that Lee Harvey Oswald did not drive or have a driver’s license. But more than thirty witnesses said Oswald did drive, including former employees of the Texas Department of Public Safety License Records Department who saw, touched and handled Oswald’s driver’s license after he was killed.
The many examples of people who actually saw Oswald’s driver’s license or saw him driving a 1955 Chevrolet station wagon, a 1957 or 1958 two-tone blue Ford, a dark colored 1958 Ford, or a 1959 Cadillac. Oswald could not drive but he was seen driving on many occasions and had a Texas driver’s license. Wonder why members of the Warren Commission did not simply phone the Texas Dept of Public Safety and ask if a Texas driver’s license had been issued to LHO or if there was a vehicle registered in his name. Their failure to address problems like these is one reason the public lost faith in the Warren Commission 50 years ago.

Oswald was a dedicated communist who had defected to the Soviet Union in 1959 out of disgust with American capitalism. After becoming disillusioned with Soviet life, he returned to the U.S. in 1962. In early 1963, he bought a scoped rifle through the mail and soon used it to fire a shot (which missed) at retired general Edwin Walker, the head of the John Birch Society in Dallas. In the summer of 1963, Oswald was active in street demonstrations in support of Castro. In September 1963, he visited the Soviet and Cuban embassies in Mexico City seeking a travel visa that would allow him to travel to Cuba.
Oswald was among the radicals of the time who saw Third World revolutionaries like Castro as the wave of the communist future. He was well aware of Kennedy’s efforts to overthrow Castro’s regime. As a Senate investigative committee suggested in 1975, Oswald shot Kennedy to interrupt his administration’s plans to assassinate Castro or to overthrow his regime in Cuba.
Ignoring Oswald’s communist links, journalists and political leaders quickly claimed the president was a martyr to civil rights. Earl Warren said that Kennedy had “suffered martyrdom as a result of the hatred and bitterness that has been injected into the life of our nation by bigots.” Martin Luther King said the assassination had to be viewed against the backdrop of violence against civil rights marchers in the South. James Reston wrote in the New York Times that “something in the nation itself, some strain of madness and violence, had destroyed the highest symbol of law and order.”
The consensus opinion was that Kennedy was a victim of hate and bigotry, a casualty of his support for civil rights. The Cold War and Kennedy’s ongoing feud with Castro were rarely mentioned as factors behind the assassination. The reasons? Mrs. Kennedy wanted her husband remembered as a modern-day Abraham Lincoln. Lyndon Johnson feared complicating relations with the Soviet Union. Liberals feared a replay of the McCarthy period, when the Wisconsin senator inflamed public opinion about fears of domestic communism.
