ALL Americans are, in fact, targets, but just because they are American. Cops are targeted more specifically because of their profession, and that targeting is more the product of minorities who are US Citizens themselves than foreign terrorists.

If cops are more of a target for them, why are they bombing/shooting up concert sites, schools, marathons, Christmas parties, night clubs etc, and not police stations?

That's what I said. A target is a target regardless of the name of the target. And the body count of dead/injured Americans vs cops, is not even close. In the last ten years, I'd guess it's probably 1000 to 1.
Regardless of the type of crime or terrorism, that makes Americans the biggest targets by far, not cops.
You are conflating Islamacist terrorism with thuggery. Two different groups, with different targets. Apples/Oranges.
The Islamicists target infidels, period. They don’t care if it’s Americans, French, Italians, Germans or whatever ... and they don’t care if the victims are adult, children, seniors. If you are killed by these groups, you just happened to be collateral damage, you were at the wrong place at the wrong time.
On the other hand, inner-city blacks target cops on the beat, sitting in their cars. They will also kill cops responding to calls of domestic violence, or robberies. These crimes are generally more spontaneous than the planned out Islamicist killings, with more personal targeting.
Today with cops as targets of the left, Islam, marxists and ferals it would be almost suicidal not to carry.
This goes double for all Americans.

No biggy, it probably should have been moved to front page or “News” by staff, based on the fact these agencies are currently big news. Btw, I can’t believe some of the people who work for these agencies. I could only describe them as dangerous, “Loose cannons”.
