GM executive Mark Reuss wrecked the pace car coming around turn two on the parade lap. Reuss was not alone in the car either, with celebrity guest Trey Wingo sitting in the passenger seat. Reuss left the Grand Prix medical center without speaking to reporters,
It was hilarious. The whole Dual in Detroit is hoped by Government Motors to be a big showcase for them. And Honda handed them their asses.
Pace car was GM, too. Vette.
Is GM going to need another government bailout because of this?
Mark Reuss was the executive in charge of the Pontiac Aztek vehicle project.
Poor Mark Reuss. I bet the google search results for his name are different today from what they were last week.
Welcome to the internet.
Always a good idea to practice driving a high performance car, or throw a bunch of pitches, you know, before the real thing.
Not like he couldnt have used a gm private track and vette beforehand.
FMCDH(BITS)
If that was a 2018 ZR1 - 760+ horsepower and 715 pounds of torque, plus an astounding traction control system to keep stuff like that from happening. He had controls in the cockpit set REALLY wrong to have done that.
I think this one is the offspring.
he wasnt expecting to see Mario or whoever was piloting the two seater putting along like that as he rounded the corner and lost it

Might as well look for a silver lining. Is this guy a Hillary supporter?
I hate it when that happens. Didn’t even make one lap.
Being a Government Motors big wig, he is beholden to the UAW and Øbozo..............
he is likely not allowed to be other than a rat voter, and vocal about it.

Sid: Driving a pace car don't take no more sense than putting on a pair of pants. My question to you is who's putting your pants on?
George: I put my pants on, Sid.
Sid: I don't believe you. If you can put your pants on, you can drive a pace car.
George: Well I don't want to get into a big dispute about the pants.
Probably had Saginaw Steering Gear in the Car.
Silver lining?
“Used, Slightly damaged corvette. Offical Pace Car edition. Mileage: 0.75 miles, will sell cheap.”

Suddenly, this all makes sense.
