Things were much simpler when the sun rotated around the earth.
Planet 9 From Outer Space!................
It’s turtles all the way down.
Thanks BenLurkin.

Many races believe that the creation of the Universe involved some sort of God, though the Jatravartid people of Viltvodle VI believe that the entire Universe was in fact sneezed out of the nose of a being known as the Great Green Arkleseizure. The Jatravartids live in perpetual fear of the time they call “the Coming of the Great White Handkerchief”
This is why they need bigger infrared telescopes in space. There may be a big object orbiting around the Sun with a very low infrared signature that could explain all the orbit irregularities—possibly a very faint brown dwarf that may even be about the size of Neptune.
I heard that Planet Nine was caused by global warming...
...and republicans.
Large objects and small objects will orbit at the same rate as long as they are at the same distance. This is the same principle demonstrated by Galileo that objects accelerate at the same rate. Orbiting is basically falling if just takes longer. Now there is some difference in rate because relativity and all but the difference between the postulated little objects and big objects is not enough. Unless one of the big objects is a planet. So they almost would have to say that planets arent planets to make the theory work.
Are they the same people who have fifty arms each and who invented aerosol deodorant before the wheel?
“and all but the difference between the postulated little objects and big objects is not enough. “
I think the article says that lots of little objects have the same influence as one big object.
“possibly a very faint brown dwarf “
I think if we had a brown dwarf in our solar system we would know it.
I was thinking of that (Plan 9 from Outer Space) also.
The movie that was so bad it was good!...................
Yes that is what they are saying. First the orbital periods of objects beyond Neptune are going to be on the order of hundreds to thousands of years. Second randomness would put those objects roughly evenly around the sun at least at the beginning and they would resemble a very sparse asteroid belt. Thus the gravitational pull of the little objects would be distributed over large distances.
The article was trying to say that somehow the little objects would cluster together in a smaller area where they would exert a combined force. I think if one were trying to infer such a thing happening one should look at similar systems to see how they behave. I suggest planetary ring systems and the asteroid belt.
This just in.....
Earth to be destroyed by a pile up of small objects.
all these scientists have to do
in order to get their equations to work right
is
to enter in the fact
that the earth is flat
“I think if we had a brown dwarf in our solar system we would know it.”
There’s some living in a hole in my garden.
The infrared Webb space telescope has ruled that out.
It easily would have picked up a brown or red dwarf.
Jury is still out on a earth sized or superearth.
