If the reports are true that theEagles were planning a stunt or only ten guys were going to show up, shame on the stunt-planning Eagles. Truthfully, that initial report came from a former Star-Ledger reporter covering the Giants, so I want some corroboration...that originally eighty-plus people were planning to attend, by the weekend only a handful were coming, and the Eagles asked to have the event postponed until next week when Trump will be doing the nation's business in Singapore is all from Sara Sanders' press conference in the White House this afternoon - corroboration enough for me......

President Trump is a team player ... the American team.

He does nothing unless it betters the team.

The Eagles should have ACTED like a team.

President Trump will not justify a non team showing.

"Ignoring the fact that only 3-5 players were going to be attending the White House meeting"

Needs to be repeated often in order to counter this stunt by the NFL, in cahoots with the MSM, to embarrass president Trump.

It should also be mentioned that the NFL expected president Trump to apparently change his plans, AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, at the last minute, so they could enact their petty little scheme.
Arrogance on parade.

At least they agree with me regarding their hate for the NFL (National Felon League). 8>)

I didn’t follow college ball back then. If he was at the game I can definitely see him stopping by the locker room. Presidential perques and all that.

I think Nixon also called one of the winning coaches at the Super Bowl and didn’t Gerald Ford call a World Series winner just after the game?

Chrissy Long should stick to being the “bottom” in amateur gay porn flicks in the off-season...

Just because they kneeled, doesn’t mean they don’t believe that other players should be allowed to kneel during games. The read I got from that is that Trump believes that many were opposed to his comments and advocacy on this issue as well as the recent rule change prompted by Trump, and didn’t go because of that. Is that the full reason? No, but I think Trump is correct to say that played a big role because the Patriots sent many players last year before that whole controversy.

Exactly. The Warriors didn’t go last year after Steph Curry kept going around trashing Trump and trying to convince his fellow players not to go. Trump rescinded his invite and the whole team stayed home. No need to invite any of the NBA teams or maybe even any NFL teams. This is being used as a political stunt. What the Eagles did was wrong.

The Trump Curse may hit them (or it may not - the Warriors avoided it).
