After losing DACA and facing deportation, he returned to Mexico. He was killed weeks later.

Mexico was an unfamiliar place for 19-year-old Manuel Antonio Cano-Pacheco. He was only three years old when his parents brought him to the United States – without a visa.

In 2015, as a teenager in Des Moines, Iowa, he qualified for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, the initiative spearheaded by President Barack Obama to give temporary protection to undocumented immigrants brought to the country as children. Cano-Pacheco gained DACA status and with it, a work permit, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

But then he was arrested and convicted on two misdemeanor drug charges.

Lᴇɢᴀʟ Japanese used to be the landscapers and groundskeepers for ‘elite’ Americans until FDR interred them for WWII …

If only his criminal parents had not taken him from his loving country he would still be alive today.

Give his history of drug abuse it would make you wonder about the circumstances of his death in Mexico. I think it would be safe to speculate that he was not killed while sitting in church

DACA - Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

deferred: adjective

  1. postponed or delayed.
  2. suspended or withheld for or until a certain time or event:

This guy was in the United States from age 3 to 19. That's 16 years. His deportation was deferred. This should be a model for all children in the US illegally.

If we don't deport children, we should deport them when they reach the age of 18.

Yes, I doubt he was a “holy” and “sanctified” as some would want...I understand after reading other articles about him, he may have fathered a child when he was 16 years old and then launched himself on the way to waywardness and his father was in jail for drug abuse, etc.

Hmmm.. Yes, I suppose one could argue they were - for all practical purposes - buried from public view...

HOWEVER, no matter how despicable the camps, probably saved a lot of lives, whatever his real intentions were.

Of course, we all know that Americans and other 'round eyes' were allowed to roam freely in Japanese Cities and controlled areas during the same period.....

(Is sarc really needed?)

If Mehico is so “increasingly violent”, why the hell are so many of my friends and relatives going there to vacation? I don’t get it? The clowns at the UN should be looking into what is going on in Mehico instead of spending all of our money and resources “investigating” what is “wrong” with America. KMA UN.

Mexico is basically a country of a few thousand lily-white Europeans running a country with a hundred million Mestizos.

To clarify ... and thanks for all the “globalist” nonsense ... is that all you got? We’ve let Mexico fix Mexico for far too long with negative results.

I’m talking about the concept of forward defense. As long as Mexico is a third world $hithold and we have refugee treaties, etc., THE INVASION OF AMERICA WILL CONTINUE. The wall will help but it will not be a total answer.

Of course an actual invasion is too much but is a Presidential threat of such a damned powerful bargaining chip? At a minimum we can incentivize Mexico fixing Mexico by halting money transfers until real steps are taken. End birth right citizenship. Pass a Jus Sanguanis Constitutional Amendment. No more anchor babies.

Sure, “Let Mexico fix Mexico” but you gotta make them want to do so. Now how about a serious discussion?

My reaction was "Well, do you liberals now see how violent and dangerous Mexico is? Do you now understand why we don't want that leaking across the border? Controlled immigration or no immigration, choose."

What I posted is the absolute truth, and serious. Anyone that has studied Mexico knows the issues, and they go all the way to the core of their society.

We need to end our refugee treaties for starters.

Any threat to invade Mexico will be responded to with absolute laughter. Those in power in Mexico understand our politics better than we do, they know that will not happen.

I am all for halting money transfers, but that money is going to the poorest people in the poorest towns. Those in charge in Mexico in government and society do not have a care at all about the poor people and the poor villages. If they all starve to death tomorrow and their villages become ghost towns they would think it a good thing. In Mexico they don’t even pay lip service to helping the poor. Their society is about the elite, and only the elite. They will support nothing that allows their poor to improve. They think your station in life is a birthright and their poor have no right to even think they should do better. In Mexico if you are born poor you have to either live your life out as poor, leave, or become a criminal. There is no way within their system for people to improve their lot in life. They have mass corruption that goes at least as far back as when they became independent of Spain. That corruption is why the government in Mexico is not even in charge of Mexico- the Cartels are. Their government officials are mostly figureheads...given titles because of their society status.

To “fix” Mexico you would have to line up those at the top now and exile them or shoot them. You would have to start from scratch with a new government- but the new people capable have been trained by the old so, the population is trained to go along...

After our revolution, if we had leadership like the dims have recently had and now have- Obama, Clintons, Pelosi, Reid, Kerry- our rich were all like Soros...that is what the foundation of Mexico sits on, and has continued all the way to now- that is the problem. They have dabbled with Socialism, Communism, and have a real caste system.

We have our own issues with the dims in our country, we are headed in the direction of Mexico. I think it is far more important to try to right our ship than to try to recover the ship of Mexico that sank to the bottom many years ago.

Our only real chance to fix Mexico was after we defeated them, if we had taken over the country and made new states- that is the only thing that had a possibility of working, then and now.

“Mexico is basically a country of a few thousand lily-white Europeans running a country with a hundred million Mestizos.”

Mmmm...first I’ve heard of that.

Yet none of the usual race-baitors have assigned them the “White Supremacy” label. They’ve been fortunate to operate under the radar all this time.

Yes, people can get murdered in Mexico as well as in any other country. In fact, Mexico has been dumping loads of killer into the U.S.

“And finally why is it somehow American’s fault that Mexico is a violent s-hole country?”

It’s the type of sob story that the Murky News front page specializes in to guilt trip you.

One of the reason I canceled my subscription 25 years ago.
