Maybe the dust storm watched the movie “Mission to Mars” and decided to duplicate its dust storm. Remember, lots of earth movies are broadcast into space. If so, that could be a reason why we’ve never been invaded. Aliens wouldn’t want to have to deal with the mess we have down here, esp. the Democrats.
PS: I’m working on an updated book version of “To Serve Man”.
It is called “To Serve Men, Women, and Inbetweens” A 10 gallon jar of BBQ sauce comes with each book sold (earth money only accepted as payment).

I think it’s amazing that the thin atmosphere on Mars would support such phenomena. The thermal differential necessary to drive such convection events must be enormous.
